I think Hall really without being completely openly admitting but through body language and his unusually stern questions, did not like the idea of a white rapper. He seemed offended when Flava Flav walked un-announced which you could tell pissed him off. Not that he had anything against Flav but it further delayed the interview and made Vanilla look cool.
